Sweet Peonies

Peonies are hot! I’ve yet to meet a bride this year who isn’t incorporating this romantic, complex flower into her wedding décor. Who can blame them? I’m also under the peony spell, which is great since I’ll be making lots of sweet replicas of these beauties this wedding season.

Hand-made sugar hydrangeas in various pink hues top these lovely Madagascar vanilla cupcakes. Pink and pewter has to be my favorite color combination this year – it seems almost feminine and masculine all at once.
